Addressing tips for Sweden
- A Swedish postcode has five digits with a space between the third and fourth: 123 45. It is written to the left of the locality name, without a country prefix.[1]
- The street line reads the street name and number: NYBY 10.[1]
- A PO box line reads BOX and the number in place of the street: BOX 1121, then 111 81 STOCKHOLM.[1]
- Every line of UPU's specimens is written in capitals.[1]

Questions about sending mail to Sweden
- How long does mail to Sweden take?
- We estimate 4–6 business days after mailing. It is an estimate, not a guaranteed delivery date, and the count starts on the day we mail your letter, not the day you order.
- Can I send a letter to Sweden from another country?
- Yes. You order online from wherever you are, and we print and mail the letter for you, so you don't need stamps or a trip to the post office. Once your order is assigned, its page shows the country it was mailed from.
- Can I send a registered letter to Sweden?
- Not at the moment: registered letters aren't available for Sweden. A tracked letter gives you a tracking number.
- Can I track a letter to Sweden?
- Yes, with a tracked letter. Tracking updates depend on the postal networks along the way, so they may not cover every step. Your order page shows the updates we receive.
- How do I write a Swedish postcode?
- Five digits with a space between the third and fourth, as in 123 45. MaisonMail formats it that way whatever spacing you type.[1]
