Addressing tips for Brazil
- Correios' UPU sheet says the postcode has eight digits and is written under the locality name, with a dash between the fifth and sixth digits.[1]
- For printed addresses, Brazil also accepts the postcode before the locality on the same line, but MaisonMail follows the specimen with the postcode on its own line.[1]
- The town line uses the town name followed by a dash and the two-letter state abbreviation, such as GUARAPUAVA - PR.[1]
- The state abbreviation must follow the town name and should never be placed before the postcode.[1]
- For Brasília, sector, quadra, block and floor information can be part of the address before BRASÍLIA - DF.[1]

- Can I send a letter to Brazil from another country?
